The Book Dropper: A Romantic Story About Secret Notes and Modern Love

The Book Dropper: A Romantic Story About Secret Notes

In the college library, Aarti noticed that Rohan always borrowed the same books. He loved history and poetry. Aarti liked him but was too shy to speak. So she made a plan.

She began writing small notes and hiding them inside the books he often borrowed. The first note said: “Secret admirer: I like the way you smile when you read.”

When Rohan opened the book, he was surprised. He looked around but saw no one. The next week, he borrowed another book. Inside was another note: “Secret admirer: Respect is the most romantic word.”

Every time he borrowed a book, he found a new message. Some were funny, some thoughtful, and some sweet. Slowly, he started waiting for the notes more than the books.

One day, he wrote a reply on a piece of paper and left it inside the book before returning it: “Dear Book Dropper, thank you for your kind words. Can we meet?”

Aarti saw the reply and felt nervous. But she decided to answer. She wrote: “Meet me at the library window at 5 PM.”

At 5 PM, Rohan stood by the window. Aarti walked in with a book in her hand. She smiled shyly. “I’m the book dropper,” she said.

Rohan laughed. “I guessed it was you. Your notes made me feel cared for.”

From that day on, they read books together. The library became their special place. The book dropper’s secret notes had turned into a real love story built on respect and gentle words.
