The Balloon Messenger: A Romantic Story About Riddles and Love
Every evening, Aarav sat by his window to study. One day, he noticed a red helium balloon floating outside. Attached to it was a small note.
The note read: “I am round, I shine at night. What am I?” Aarav smiled. “The moon,” he whispered. He looked around but saw no one.
The next day, another balloon appeared. This time it was blue. The note said: “I carry words but I am not a mouth. What am I?” Aarav laughed. “A book.”
Day after day, balloons of different colors floated near his window. Each carried a playful riddle. Aarav began to wait for them. He solved every one, feeling curious about the sender.
Finally, one evening, a yellow balloon arrived. The note said: “I am the girl who sends these balloons. If you want to meet me, come to the park tomorrow at 5 PM.”
Aarav’s heart raced. He went to the park at the right time. There, standing with a bunch of balloons, was Meera, his classmate. She smiled shyly. “I wanted to make you smile. Did you like my riddles?”
Aarav nodded. “They were the best part of my day.”
From then on, they walked home together, sometimes carrying balloons, sometimes just laughing. The balloon messenger had turned into a real friend—and soon, something more.
Their story showed that romance can be playful, creative, and full of respect. Even a simple balloon can carry love when tied with care.
