The Umbrella Parade: A Romantic Story About Love

The Umbrella Parade: A Romantic Story About Love

Every morning, Aanya walked past the same street on her way to college. She liked a boy named Rohan who lived there. But she was shy. She wanted him to notice her without saying a word.

So she started a small plan. On Monday, she carried a bright red umbrella. On Tuesday, she carried a blue one. On Wednesday, it was yellow. Even when the sun was shining, she still carried her umbrella.

Rohan noticed. “Why does she always walk with an umbrella?” he wondered. Day after day, the colors changed. Green, orange, purple. Slowly, he realized she was making a rainbow.

One afternoon, Rohan waited outside. When Aanya passed with a pink umbrella, he smiled. “Are you making a parade?” he asked.

Aanya laughed. “Yes. It’s my umbrella parade. I wanted you to see the colors.”

Rohan was curious. “But why?”
She looked down shyly. “Because I like you. I thought maybe you would notice me if I made something special.”

Rohan smiled warmly. “I did notice. And I think it’s the sweetest idea I’ve ever seen.”

From that day, they walked together under her umbrellas. Sometimes sunny, sometimes rainy, but always colorful. The rainbow she created was not just in the sky—it was in their hearts.
